Guess I need to post before everyone goes away.

I want to talk about things I like. I like the Tales of the Otori, by Lian Hearn. They’re a set of fantasy novels set in a long-ago, far-away samurai kingdom.
They’re pretty good and you should check them out.

I also want to talk about things I don’t like.
I can do without snow. I aspire to move somewhere with none, and I resent the societal and ecomonic forces that conspire to keep me here, in what for all intents and purposes could be Siberia.

I like good music, and I’m going to go see some soon.

I don’t like having to work at five in the morning, which I’m about to have to do for a month.

I like being decandent and lazy, which I’ve been doing.
I don’t like being fat, which I’m getting….

Question for the day: What heroes would we have in a world at peace?

It wouldn’t take to long
To drive out there.

  1. I hate snow too.  Infact, I think I am moving in 2 years to a place where snow is unlikely in large amounts and only freezing rain falls from the sky.

    A better alternative?

  2. I almost said something rude, when I meant it to be funny. The end result was that you get to buy Warcraft 3 if I don’t get it in time to sell to Bryce.

  3. Good to hear from you… and if you want lack of snow… south east texas is the perfect location. Course I won’t be here much longer if I can help it. I want snow so badly.

  4. we would have Thought Heroes in a world at peace… and um, do you ALSO like kungfu moviessss???? omg I am like all over them, especially Jet Li, he rules.

  5. What too cool to chat with me tonight? i see how it is.

Thanks for using the initials! lol. You rock my world!
I saw that movie with you guys remember? You thought I hated it, but secretly I went and bought it the next day!

  6. and i still feel bad every time i think of joan of ark. whoever she was, and whatever she was really about. one thing i do believe, though, that her faith was exploited, and that she was a brave person. it’s a fuckin shame that they decideed to canonize her. it’s like americans naming the fuckin natives after themselves. it’s disgusting.
